Certainly, a fundamental element in the electrical system of every environment, from homes to offices, but also in department stores, is the thermostat, that is, the device that allows you to control the temperature in order to program the ideal climate for your needs, without waste of energy. Not only heating, but also cooling, and so the thermostat comes into operation every day of the year to guarantee the ideal temperature for the environment in which it is installed.
So Vimar has decided to expand its vast range of temperature regulation devices, introducing new connected thermostats into its product range, in order to allow the user to manage climate regulation comfortably remotely.
The new Vimar smart thermostats have an elegant design, with clean and essential lines, reduced thickness and functional ergonomics. This is the new smart wall thermostat developed on two technologies: the thermostat with code 02912 with Wi-Fi connectivity and the 02913 thermostat with 4G LTE functionality, to be connected to the latest generation mobile networks.
The clearly visible animated LED matrix display with lateral status displays and front tilt adjustment to obtain "timeless" mechanical feedback. The configuration and control of the thermostats can be performed via the View APP and management can be multi-zone or multi-home, depending on the user's needs.The application is extremely functional and for this reason, in the energy section, the user can monitor the operating time of the thermostat to have greater awareness of energy consumption.
The thermostats can also be integrated with Alexa, Google voice assistants and the IFTTT protocol.
Elegant design, easy to use thanks to intuitive controls
The display, thanks to the LED animation, is easily readable even from a distance. The brightness is adjustable on three different levels to always offer maximum visual comfort. Precisely because it is discreet and minimal, the display only shows the temperature indication which, thanks to a slight tilting movement of the front panel, can be set simply by briefly pressing the upper or lower side of the thermostat. A slight animation moves the numbers that indicate the temperature degrees, thus visually understanding whether the system is heating or cooling.
To set the thermostat functions, however, you must refer to the icons that Vimar has specifically chosen to place on the sides of the thermostat, to leave the front part of the device completely free. Simple and intuitive, the settings icons are backlit by LEDs and allow programming of the thermostat's working status. In fact, a simple glance is enough to know the connection status to the cloud, to the Wi-Fi network, to know if the relay is active and therefore the environment is heating up or to verify the activation, in the 4G LTE version, of the possible auxiliary output.
Furthermore, the multifunction button, positioned under the frame on the lower side, allows access to a series of additional functions such as, for example, the choice between degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.
As already mentioned, like all Vimar smart products, the smart wall thermostat can be controlled remotely via the View app through which it is possible to both configure it, with the help of a guided wizard, and manage it using simple and intuitive widgets.
With the new release of the View app it is also possible to manage not only multiple thermostats within the same home but also multiple systems from a single screen. By doing so, the user has the possibility of connecting all the devices dedicated to temperature control within the application, thus having a complete and integral view of the climate inside his home, but also inside his offices. , having a greater awareness of the energy demand by indicating the operating time of the system.
Vimar also wanted to integrate the new thermostats with Amazon and Google in order to ensure local or remote control via voice, while the one with the IFTTT (If This Than That) protocol allows you to create small logics and make hundreds of connected devices interact with each other .
With these new fully connected thermostats Vimar wanted to expand its range of smart products. In addition to the temperature, Vimar also completes its range of products with devices that are able to interact with the integrated Amazon Alexa to raise and lower the shutters or turn the lights on and off, in a completely natural, simple, comfortable and intuitive way, thanks to the connected light controls, voice commands and the gateway.
In this case it is sufficient to install the connected commands dedicated to the use that the user needs, to create the smart home that is functional for every need. It is important to specify that it is not just about aesthetics, which is certainly an important and relevant aspect in the choice of appliances, but home automation is also a question of energy consumption and saving. By connecting the devices to their smartphone, the user has the possibility not only to manage the various functions remotely, but also to manage and control the consumption of the connected devices.
