Detailed Measurement Accuracy
The PM3255, as an energy measurement device, can accurately measure a variety of parameters such as energy, active and reactive power, voltage, current and frequency. It also measures power factor, apparent power and total harmonic distortion up to the 15th harmonic.
High Network Compatibility
Operating on a 50 or 60 Hz network, the PM3255 Energy Meter accepts supply voltages starting from 100 to 277 V AC, 173 to 480 V AC and 100 to 300 V DC.
Current and Voltage Measurement Configurations
- Detects a nominal line current varying between 1A or 5A input.
- It is compatible with single-phase, single-phase and neutral or three-phase configurations.
- Its direct measurement range covers a range from 50 to 570 V AC, extendable with external TV from 570 to 999000 V AC.
- The voltage measurement range between phases can vary from 80 to 570VAC (45 to 65 Hz) and between phase and neutral from 50 to 330VAC (45 to 65 Hz).
Communication and Memory Protocol
The PM3255 uses Modbus RTU and ASCII 2 wired communication protocol with RS485 port. With its two digital inputs and two digital outputs, it offers 512 kB of memory for event logging, supporting up to 15 alarms with logs for power and energy consumption.
